Hugs

Dad gave the best hugs!  He was a large man, so when he hugged you, he engulfed you.  It felt so warm and secure in his arms!  He loved to give and get hugs.  I miss those hugs.

Memories of Dad

I was recently inspired by a girlfriend of mine to start a blog in remembrance of Dad Mishler.  We were talking and realized the best way to remember someone who has passed on is to talk about their life; to talk about their stories and their ideas.  This is a blog for that purpose.  I am inviting all of the Mishler family to participate in recording your memories, stories and feelings of David Harlan Mishler Sr..  Please write whenever you think about it.  It could be a full story, or just something he used to say.  I would also love to have the stories he used to tell recorded.
